Helen Tweed
Art workshop coordinator
Helen Tweed is an artist specialising in the indigenous arts and cultures of Africa, Americas and Pacific.
She trained as a tribal art specialist at Christie's, has worked in museum and community arts education for 5 years and recently setup Tribal Art Education. She has lived in Morocco with Berber and Bedouin peoples, organised rare Moroccan film screenings, museum visits and arts events for her local Moroccan community. Helen also gives bi-monthly talks in the Native American and Mexico galleries at The British Museum. She is an associate of the Royal Anthropological Institute, London and member of Survival International.
